Alliance Poles Working Team Best Practices
This document is an interim draft of the final work product of the Alliance Poles Category Working Team. The report is a compilation of both a utility life cycle assessment of the wood pole and pole manufacturing facility environmental assessments. The results of the assessments are documented as a set of best practice recommendations for the manufacturing, transportation, use and disposal of wood poles.
We welcome any feedback and questions to further enhance our work product. The Alliance plans to post the final document on the website before the end of January 2010.
