Alliance Members are Getting the Word Out

Recently the Alliance has been represented at several conferences sharing the information collected on the recently released Investment Recovery (IR) Best Practices Document. Russell Wilkenloh, Manager Asset Recovery and Recycling for Duke Energy and Alliance Team Lead for the Investment Recovery project shared the works with IR professionals at the Investment Recovery Association in Houston, Texas and with utility supply management members at the USMA conference held in Savannah, Georgia.

Sheri Straw, Managing Director, T&D Supply Chain with Duke Energy will lead a panel of Alliance members sharing their sustainability success stories to utility purchasing managers at UPMG in Nashville, Tennessee, September 11-13 .

Earlier in the year, Sheri Straw, Duke Energy, Gun Shim, Vice President Supply Chain Management, Pacific Gas & Electric; Lindsey Thomsen Supplier Relationship Management, Strategic Sourcing San Diego Gas & Electric and Kenneth Landrith Director, Procurement, Southern California Edison were on a panel at the Platt’s conference in San Diego, California sharing how the Electric Utility Sustainable Supply Chain Alliance is reaching out beyond their boundaries to identify successful outside practices and making them relevant to the industry.
