Electric Utility Membership is open to (1) all electric utilities and (2) electric utilities whose portfolio includes non-electric utilities.
To qualify for membership, either type of utility identified in the previous sentence must also own and operate a reasonably sized transmission and/or distribution infrastructure, report to a utility governing body and deliver power to over 100 individual customers.
Annual Dues: $35,000 (Jan - Dec)
Alliance membership is open to North American electric utilities. Each member shall be represented in the Alliance by an Electric Utility Representative. Each Electric Utility Representative is name by its member and may serve in such capacity for as long as its Member desires. No Member may have more than one Electric Utility Representative; however, other employees and agents of the Member may participate in the activities of the Alliance. Electric Utility Representatives shall be able to commit their Member to actions where appropriate. Members must be willing to commit the time of Electric Utility Representatives and other qualified employee of the Members in support of Alliance activities.
